The KIX Senshu Tourism Bureau is a destination management organization (DMO) that manages tourism in the Senshu area, which is based at Kansai International Airport, one of the gateways to Japan. While Japan is becoming a world-famous tourist destination, Senshu remains largely unknown to the rest of the world. Senshu has eight things to show for – its tea, springs, mountains in the countryside, ocean, towns, craftsmanship, antiquity, and arts of design. With these, we would like to provide travellers from all over the world with a travel experience that can go on to last for generations, and for our region to become a place where travelers can pass down their memories. While world-famous tourist spots are attractive, local areas in Japan such as Senshu also have their own stories to tell, one that you won’t be able to experience anywhere else. Drop by Senshu and explore what those seemingly unassuming streets have to offer. With the Senshujin – or the locals of Senshu – guiding you around, your trip will be nothing short of exciting.
